Recognizing that no center exists for consolidating and developing research in the cognitive sciences and the arts, we sponsor small gatherings of researchers from multiple disciplines to informally share their work, discuss issues, problems, and future directions, and to explore further collaboration in work associated with all aspects of the relations between the cognitive sciences and the arts.

Myrifield provides modest but comfortable accommodations for small groups to meet outside the formal venues of conferences and lectures. We encourage informal exchanges among specialists as opposed to prepared presentations. We maintain a small but growing research library of materials in cognitive sciences and the arts for use by visiting scholars.
